Winding up a project
There are many different reasons for closing down an organisation. In a difficult financial climate it can be hard to keep going, but there are also some organisations that choose to merge or wind down completely for sound strategic reasons or if they have achieved the purpose they were orginally set up for.
'Legacy' we all know that's what we should be aiming to deliver but ensuring your project leaves behind a lasting legacy that reflects the most important thing that you actually did can feel overwhelming when you are also going through unknown territory and winding up the organisation.
Sydney Thornbury Executive Director of the charity WebPlay is trying to do just that and has captured the insights from their lawyer Kate Mayor, from the law firm Vertex Law to help share valuable insight into the process. These short films consider some of the steps in the process of winding up an organisation that you should be thinking about.
