NCVO Political Conference 2007 - Building your political intelligence
21 November 2007 - London
This year’s political conference provided critical political intelligence to help you plan and implement high-level political lobbying campaigns to modify legislation, influence public policy or simply to move the profile of an issue up the political agenda.
NCVO MP Secondment Scheme
NCVO’s MP Secondment Scheme has been running since 1999. The Secondment Scheme offers MPs an opportunity to grapple with the everyday workings of the voluntary and community sector. Over a 12-18 month period MPs are offered the opportunity to spend at least ten days with a host voluntary or community organisation, gaining experience of all the organisation’s core activities — everything from fundraising to research to working with volunteers and users.
Find out more about the Secondment Scheme and apply.
