Trustee- Richmond Youth Partnership- Legal specialism
RYP is a medium sized charity (turnover £600k p./a) providing a range of innovative youth services to around 4,500 young people in Richmond Upon Thames and surrounding area. As part of our ongoing review of Trustee Board skills and capabilities we are currently seeking to recruit a Trustee with legal experience and expertise to assist us with our ongoing development and advise the Trustee Board.
To provide legal support and advice to RYP Board and management particularly in areas related;
1. Contracts and commissioned services
2. HR issues
3. Project development- any relevant legal issues
4. Other issues that arise
Trustees meet 6 times per year and attend to staff/Trustee "awaydays" per year. The Board has 10 members with Trustees responsible for particular elements of RYP development.
