The Eleanor Palmer Trust is registered charity (No 220857) and a Registered Social Landlord (No A1168). The Trust provides residential care and affordable housing for elderly people in Chipping Barnet and East Barnet. Also it provides financial assistance to persons who are need, hardship or distress and to other local organisations that are meeting this need. The Trustees are responsible for the overall management of the organisation, involving strategic planning, finance, property & investment; the day to day management of the organisation is conducted by its officers. The Trust is looking for two new Trustees, ideally with some knowledge and experience in law or care management or human resources but most importantly an interest in caring for elderly people. The Board of Trustees meets six times a year and two sub-committees meet three times a year. The Office and the residential property are all in High Barnet and ideally Trustees will be reasonably local.
