We are looking for a part-time voluntary person to replace our current Honorary Treasurer/Membership Secretary and Trustee, who is soon due to retire.

Primary duties:
As Hon Treasurer and Trustee, keeping up-to-date accounts, receiving subscriptions and donations, paying expenses, dealing with Gift Aid claims, keeping membership database updated, attending Trustees meetings in London held five times a year.
Required qualifications:
Experience of keeping accounts of small charities or organisations, preparing final accounts, and dealing with annual examination of yearly accounts by external examiner. Competence in using computer to assist in accounting process and in maintaining membership database.
Additional information:
PARITY's annual income depends entirely on subscriptions and donations, and varies but is usually less than £5k.
