'At a time when many organisations are facing cuts, there is more need than ever to consider measures for saving time and money when carrying out tasks. imail is an excellent service that can help organisations achieve both of these goals. A simple letter can be printed, sealed in an envelope and posted for less than the price of a second class stamp. We are confident that this service will add real value.'
Richard Williams, Director of Capacity Building & Business Development at NCVO
'We are thrilled to have forged this partnership with the NCVO, which will allow us to effectively support the voluntary sector via the optimisation of their mailing requirements. Not only does imail deliver substantial cost savings, efficiency improvements and increased sales activity, it also simultaneously cuts the carbon footprint of mailing activity by reducing a letter’s delivery mileage. With green, as well as cost, considerations coming high up most voluntary organisations’ agendas, this is most definitely an added advantage.'
Guy Buswell, CEO of UK Mail
UK Mail Group is the UK’s leading alternative mail services provider, handling in excess of 17 million items every day. Almost 3 billion items from over 2,000 customers pass through the operation’s doors every year, constituting 17 per cent of all addressed mail within the UK and making it the busiest alternative to Royal Mail.
imail was launched in 2008 by UK Mail as the only alternative to the first class postal service and enables users to send letters and postcards with just a click of the mouse from as late as 3pm for next-day or 6pm for two-day delivery. The mail documents are sent electronically to the UK Mail sort centre closest to the destination where they are printed, enveloped and sorted for onward delivery.
imail is ideal for all sizes of business from SMEs to corporate companies, offering a dynamic desktop to delivery service at a keystroke that provides a range of cost, time and environmental benefits.
