A series of masterclasses on income diversification for voluntary and community sector support organisations / infrastructure organisations.

NAVCA and NCVO are working in partnership to bring support organisations or infrastructure organisations this series of masterclass for voluntary sector support organisations. In a difficult funding environment, this series will give participants the skills, knowledge and inspiration they need to refresh their funding model and access new sources of income. Using a series of case studies, expert speakers and practical exercises, this series provides a valuable toolkit for building sustainable, local support for the voluntary sector.

Becoming more entrepreneurial
In the first of our series, we’ll present two case studies of local support organisations that have diversified their income through trading products and services. Speakers will share their experience of creating an enterprising culture within their organisation and their Board in order to realise innovative ideas and take risks in order to grow. The afternoon's speakers are:
- Brian Horner, Chief Executive, Voluntary Norfolk
- Sajid Hashmi MBE, Chief Executive, VAST (Voluntary Action Stoke-on-Trent)
- Facilitator: Lindsey Benton, Senior Consultant, NAVCA
Who should attend
Chief Executives, Business Development staff, or those responsible for fundraising and income generation for local support organisations or for national, specialist support providers or ‘second nd tier’ advisors to the voluntary and community sector.

Cancellation Policy
50% of delegate fees will be refunded for cancellations received by Monday 28 November 2011. After this no fees are refundable for cancellation or non-attendance.
