Microsoft Donations Programme
Microsoft have expanded their community software donations programme. This represents a significantly enhanced investment in the voluntary and community sector's ICT. NCVO welcomes this development and fully supports the provision of discounted and donated software to voluntary and community organisations (vcos). The Charity Technology eXchange programme will be delivered by Charity Technology Trust (CTT), in partnership with the technology capacity building organisation TechSoup.
While the Charity Technology eXchange scheme will have the potential to meet the requirements of many vcos, there are a number of eligibility and numerical restrictions.
The NCVO Microsoft Select Agreement (delivered by our nominated resellers Phoenix Software and Pugh Computers) will continue to provide extensive discounts of up to 80% on Microsoft software and will remain an important channel for many of our members to source and meet their Microsoft licensing requirements.
