Sustainable Funding Beacons

Beacons logoPartnerships with the Sustainable Funding Project at NCVO

Over the past decade, the Sustainable Funding Project (SFP) has worked with infrastructure across England to support frontline voluntary and community sector organisations (VCOs) to explore a more sustainable approach to funding.

The Beacons programme seeks to strengthen this relationship through strategic collaboration, to benefit both infrastructure organisations and the communities they serve.

The aims of the programme are to equip selected infrastructure organisations with the skills, knowledge and resources to embed the sustainable income approach amongst frontline VCOs in their area and to enable them to take a more strategic approach.

Helen Black, Chief Officer, CVS South Gloucestershire, said, “CVS South Gloucestershire is delighted to have been selected to be part of the NCVO Beacons Programme.  Involvement in the programme will develop the work of our Funding Advice Service, helping us to support local frontline voluntary and community sector organisations in South Gloucestershire to diversify their income streams and become more sustainable.”
