About the day

Two half-day sessions led by solicitors at TPP law providing you with essential knowledge and understanding of some of the key legal issues related to public service delivery under contract.

AM Session - Navigating Commercial Agreements:

Navigating a commercial agreement can be daunting and complex but this session aims to make the task a little easier by walking you through the top 10 commercial/legal issues, with practical examples from TPP solicitors’ experience, and giving you pointers on how to manage them.

  • top 10 commercial legal issues
  • key risks to be aware of and how to manage/avoid them
  • Case studies – discussion of real life examples

The course gives you the opportunity to bring your own issues to discuss with the speakers and other delegates in order to share experiences and answers.

PM Session - TUPE & Pensions

This course is designed to look at the implications of TUPE and pension rights from the point of view of the employer (both the existing and new employer) and the employees.

  • TUPE – is there a transfer?  What does this mean for you (employer and employees) and the organisation?
  • Pensions – what pensions rights do employees have?
  • Highlighting the key issues and risks to be aware of

The course will allow time for discussion and debate of case studies and real life examples.

Delegates can book to attend one or both sessions.
