What's driving charitable giving?
NCVO's Third Sector Foresight programme has been exploring how political, social, economic and technical drivers are shaping the voluntary and community sector. The economics drivers section provides easy to use guidance on issues such as consumer confidence and new philanthropists, whilst the technology drivers section will help you think about how social media and open data will build support and generate donations for charities.
Visit the Third Sector Foresight website.
Advice and support
NCVO provides advice and support on funding to organisations that want to think about charitable giving as part of a wider strategy to diversify their income and become more sustainable. You can read here their practical information on individual giving and the gift economy.
