Post and packing

Postage and packing prices are based on the value of your order. Charges are calculated before any discounts.

UK orders

For customers in the UK, postage is charged at 20% of the invoice price (calculated after discounts), with a minimum of £1.50 and a maximum of £10 per order.

Overseas orders

For customers outside the UK, postage is charged at 30% of the invoiced price (calculated after discounts), with a minimum of £2.50 per order.

Bulk discounts

Bulk discounts apply to orders of a single title as follows:

75-99	17.5%
100-124	20%
125-149	25%
150-199	30%
200+	35%

Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Switch, AMEX and Delta Connect
Cheques made payable to 'Central Books'
BACS/Banker’s draft.

UK Sterling accepted only (overseas payment only accepted when made via credit card or banker’s draft).

Goods will not be despatched until full payment has been received.

Credit accounts by prior agreement only.

Underpayment, including cheques sent without post and packing, will be returned unfulfilled.

Pre-agreed credit accounts – payment must be made with 30 days of receipt of invoice.

Returns

You may return any publications you have purchased within 7 working days of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or by other durable medium (including e-mail) within those 7 working days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days. While in your possession, you must keep any publications you intend to return to us in good condition.

If:

the publication delivered is not what you ordered or does not correspond with its description;
the publication delivered is not of a satisfactory quality; or
the publication is not fit for any other purpose for which you have bought it and you notified NCVO of this purpose before purchase, and we have not informed you that the publication is not fit for that purpose;

we will refund to you the price paid and your reasonable costs of returning the publications.
