SFP Only Connect visit scheme

The Only Connect visit scheme ran from 2003 to 2010 and gave organisations the opportunity to learn from colleagues in the sector about new income generation ideas.

If you are new to income generation we believe you can learn a lot about what to do, or more importantly, what not to do from other organisations in the sector.

The scheme

Sponsored by Triodos Bank, we offered organisations £150 to pay for time and travel to visit another organisation to learn about how they diversified their income into trading or public service delivery or by using loan finance.  We also offered the host organisation £200 as a consultation fee for their time spent with the visiting organisation.

In return the visiting organisation submitted a report covering the key learning points from their visit which we are able to publish in order for others to learn about income generation.

Hosts
