Danny Alexander MP will be a Keynote Speaker at the NCVO Annual Conference

We are very pleased to announce that Danny Alexander MP, Chief Secretary of the Treasury, has been announced as a Keynote Speaker at the NCVO Annual Conference on 5 March 2012.

Danny was a key member of the coalition negotiating team and played an important role in drawing up the detailed programme for government.

Now one of the most senior people within the Treasury, Danny Alexander is responsible for driving efficiency and value for money in our public services and controlling public expenditure. He has unique insight into the way the Treasury works and the plans that will affect the voluntary sector, and will have a major influence over the forthcoming budget, so this is an ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate the importance of our sector and help shape his views.
