New partnership promises savings on Apple products for voluntary organisations
We're delighted to announce a new preferred supplier agreement with Academia Ltd, for the supply of Apple Hardware and Software to charities and non-profit organisations.
The new supplier agreement will enable our member organisations to purchase Apple Hardware and Software at specifically negotiated discounted pricing.
Academia has developed an excellent reputation for competitive pricing and customer service in supplying creative solutions to public sector organisations. In recognition of this, it received a number of prestigious awards in 2010 including the MacUser Magazine Education Reseller of the year and Adobe Education Reseller of the Year.
Mark McCormack, Apple Business Director at Academia, said:
"We hope this new agreement allows the voluntary sector to maximize on budgets in the current economic climate and helps organisations to access the power and creativity that Apple technology provides."
Richard Williams, Director of Capacity Building & Business Development at NCVO, said:
"Apple are at the leading edge of creative technology and are highly regarded by design and creative teams in voluntary organisations. We also believe that giving young people access to their technology through youth-based voluntary organisations can give them vital skills that they may not otherwise be able to access. We are delighted therefore to help make these products more affordable for our members through this new partnership."
