New home insurance for charity workers

27th January 2011

We are delighted to announce details of a new home insurance product designed for voluntary sector staff, trustees and volunteers, launched in partnership with CaSE Insurance.

This is a great value, high quality new home insurance product with free additional protection to assist individuals in their voluntary work, and includes Trustee Indemnity Insurance, Voluntary Giving Protection, Charity Money cover and Personal Accident cover (while the policyholder or spouse/partner is engaged in voluntary work).

Cover is competitively priced with extra discounts for newer properties, approved security systems, membership of an active Neighbourhood Watch Scheme, policyholders aged 50 plus, and non-smokers. Policyholders can also benefit from up to 30 per cent no claims discount and up to 15 per cent discount when taking out combined buildings and contents cover.

For a limited introductory period, CaSE is also offering all new policy holders a £25 Marks & Spencer voucher for all combined buildings and contents policies or a £10 voucher for either buildings or contents insurance (payable once the full premium or first three instalments have been paid).

Stephen Lloyd, Senior Partner at Bates Wells and Braithwaite, a member of the CaSE Insurance partnership, said:

"I am delighted  that CaSE Insurance, which we helped set up three years ago to help voluntary organisations save money on their insurance, has now launched a product to help those working for and giving their time to these organisations. The product has been competitively designed but it also reflects the contribution made by people working for voluntary organisations and rewards them with additional free cover especially designed for them."

The policies are easy to buy online at www.casehomeinsurance.co.uk.
