One of NCVO's approved suppliers, Sho-net Systems, issued a defiant promise to keep trading after their north London offices were destroyed in disturbances in Tottenham this week.

Clyde Williams, Sho-net Chairman said, "You may be aware that Tottenham experienced a riot over the week-end.
"Our building was totally burnt out.
"However our business will continue as usual."

Sho-net provides fundraising and case management databases to help voluntary organisations manage more effectively an NCVO approved supplier.

And Clyde is respected member of Tottenham's community having done excellent work with BAME organisations.

He said "At 12 midnight on Saturday 6th August we went to bed with the news that the peaceful demonstration at the Tottenham Police station was spilling over into a local disturbance with the setting alight of 2 police cars, a bus and a shop.
"This was all happening a mile away from us.
"However during the night the disturbance reached our area and by the morning our building along with many others was completely destroyed.
"We are determined that today will be business as usual.
"We have temporarily relocated to 38 Elsden Road, London N17 6RY.
"We thank you for all the calls of support we have received.
"We will overcome this setback and continue to serve all of our customers."

yeah,no matter what happen business is business after all..:) Anyway have you guys heard the news just a couple of days ago? It is said there that America's Aug. 2 debt ceiling deal introduced $2.4 trillion in spending cuts. But tax hikes evidently were not kosher, regardless of what some claim is a desperate need. The Economist argues the common American's reluctance to tax the rich is entirely psychological, a product of what the publication calls “last-place aversion”. This would leave many Americans still living off of payday loans.
