The EU affects many of our lives in an increasingly interdependent world, how do we make sure that it is accountable to the needs of all civil society organisations?
How do we connect to this vital debate and how do we work together to ensure our needs are respected in EU relationships?
In association with national partners across European civil society, such as BBE (Germany) and NENO (Estonia), we are calling for an agreement to establish a clearer more transparent framework between civil society and the institutions of the EU. This must go further than the Minimum Standards of Consultation to ensure better partnership working for the benefit of citizens and communities. This framework should address:
• Consultation & Participation
• Good Governance
• Funding
• Volunteering
