Giving with one hand...

... or maybe that should be 'robbing Peter to pay Paul'?
We recently received an appeal for funding, from somebody in charge of a schools project, because the city council had cut their funding. This is the same council that gives our neighbourhood partnership £2,000 a year. If more people in the community are coming to us for financial help because the council are now withholding it, isn't that an effective reduction in our grant?

School funding is really important. Just imagine teachers work hard to provide interesting educational opportunities for their students. And there are times when they are stopped by funding issues. However, there is still something that can be done. I hope I can give a little idea for finding funds issue. The person who will start it must have a well thought about project and to be creative in finding funding sources. Formalize exactly what is the demand and the materials and costs involved. Then, set a list of all costs involved and the things need to be made.
Hi
I am in exactly this situation. I am running the first ever structured disability education for primary and senior schools (from 3 years to 14 years). The project enjoys great popularity in schools but there is no funding for it. The impact it makes amongst children and teachers is outstanding. It received exceptional testimony from all head-teachers who run it. But because it is something that has never been done before i am unable to secure funding for it.
I would be very grateful for any tips or hints anyone can give.
