Meet the organisers (and introduce yourself!)
Chloe Stables
Chloe is the Parliamentary and Campaigns Officer at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). Before moving over to the sector, she cut her teeth as a researcher for an MP and as a corporate lobbyist. Chloe then established the public affairs team at St Mungo's, a London-based homelessness charity, before moving to NCVO.

Amelia Gudgion
Amelia coordinates the development of NCVO information and resources disseminating good practice in campaigning and influencing.
Amelia joined Campaigning Effectiveness in 2007 originally as team assistant, then research and development officer. She has worked in the voluntary sector for the past five years mainly for small organisations including Women's Refugee Association and a start up charity information website Guidestar UK. Previous to this she volunteered for refugee and asylum seeker advice centres.

Nicola Gilbert
Nicola is the Campaigning Effectiveness Officer at NCVO and the first point of contact for the Forum for Change which runs a programme of training, networking and resources.
Nicola previously worked at the National Children Bureau for the Play England project, campaigning for children's right to free play provision across the country. Prior to this she held a communications role for a small voluntary organisation in the West Midlands and ran a community arts group for two years at university.

Philip Hadley
Philip co-ordinates research into effective voluntary and community sector campaign strategies. Prior to NCVO, Philip worked in international development as a researcher for Indian rural development NGO Action for Social Advancement, and as part of a global health campaign for international advocacy organisation RESULTS UK.

Paul Winyard
Paul provides parliamentary support to Chloe Stables in her role as Parliamentary and Campaigns Officer. After graduating from Sussex University where he studied Politics and International Relations, Paul embarked on a career in government affairs interning at one of London’s top public affairs agencies Bell Pottinger Public Affairs.

Virpi Oinonen
Virpi is the Web Development Officer at NCVO. She has experience in online campaigning at Greenpeace Nordic and the Green Party in Finland. She has also worked as a freelance cartoonist and journalist.
