Funding Central: how we are celebrating our third birthday

Today (18th June) Funding Central is three years old, and we're celebrating here at NCVO.

The site offers a database of live funding opportunities to people across England, and provides tailored funding information for voluntary organisations, social enterprises and other civil society organisations.

Since its launch in June 2009 Funding Central has recruited over 47,000 registered users, and is one of the most visited voluntary sector websites with over 7 million page views.

Time to celebrate!

As project manager for Funding Central I think it's really important to celebrate. It's not just that the service has been growing and developing over the years, but that thousands of organisations have used it since 2009 to strengthen their work, fund new projects and get involved in providing important public services.

So this is what we'll be up to during our birthday week:

• Showing you evidence of the impact we're having
• Sharing examples of the success of Funding Central users
• Writing about how we're adapting to the changing funding environment
