Ask the expert

"Ask the expert" is a new benefit for NCVO members, who can ask questions to experts in the voluntary sector. Asking a question to an expert and reading the answers requires you to log in or register as an NCVO member. Questions are not automatically displayed on the site when submitted by NCVO members.

Chris Wyllie is a partner of Iveagh who are hosting our free seminar: 'Investing for the Future' on Tuesday 20 April.

Chris Wyllie has been in finance for over 20 years, and during that time has gained considerable experience of managing charitable assets. He began in banking with Brown Shipley in 1988, before switching to fund management by joining the charities desk at Foreign & Colonial in 1992. The team there managed a broad spread of charity funds, but with a particular specialism in educational endowments.

He then moved to Schroders, becoming director of charity accounts there, and Head of UK Equity Strategy. Subsequently he moved to Merrill Lynch Investment Management (now Blackrock), before entering the world of wealth management with JP Morgan Private Bank. In 2006, Chris joined Iveagh as head of portfolio management. He holds an MA (Hons) in History from Cambridge University and is an associate of the Society of Investment Professionals.
