Members' Photo Competition 2010

Camps for Chernobyl - Winner 2009Help us celebrate and promote the amazing work that you, our member organisations, are doing by taking part in our second annual members' photography competition.

Once again, we're on the hunt for a photograph that shows how you are making a positive difference to the world we live in – a photo that encapsulates this year's theme: Building a Better Society.

Prizes

If you're our winner, you'll receive:

  • £100 for your charity 
  • a free place at our flagship Annual Conference on Tuesday 1 March 2011 (worth £175)

The judging panel will also select two highly-commended entries and all the shortlisted and winning photos will be exhibited at the post-conference drinks reception at our Annual Conference, raising the profile of your organisation and its work.

Here's a sample of submissions we've received:

Rules and regulations

  • You must be an NCVO member to enter.
  • The deadline for all entries is Friday 21 January 2011 and the winner and runner-up will be announced at our Annual Conference on Tuesday 1 March 2011.
  • Photos must be digital and high resolution – at least 1MB.
  • Photos must be your own work and should not have won previous competitions or have been published elsewhere.
  • No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
  • Please make sure you have your organisation’s permission to enter.
  • Multiple entries will be accepted from an organisation, however entries are limited to two photographs per individual or team.
  • If there are people in your photographs please make sure you have asked their permission.
  • By submitting an entry you are giving NCVO the right to use, distribute and publicise your photo as we see fit. If you do not wish to grant these rights please do not submit your contribution.
  • By entering, you are agreeing to participate in publicity about the competition and winners.
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged.
  • By entering this competition you are accepting these rules and agree to be bound by them.
