Value of Infrastructure Programme explained
Infrastructure organisations and networks help others achieve their mission. They have a real impact on voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.
However, it’s often difficult to describe the work and impact of infrastructure.
Infrastructure services are often one or two steps removed from the clear effects of work on the frontline. This is why the Value of Infrastructure Programme has developed new tools and training for infrastructure organisations to show their impact.
Find out how we describe infrastructure.
Impact for infrastructure: how can it help my organisation?
Infrastructure organisations of all shapes and sizes can use the tools to capture the important work they do: connecting, developing and influencing within the sector.
The VIP tools consist of impact dials, which are a simple way of capturing the work you do with:
- frontline organisations
- external agencies
- the wider sector
VIP online is a database to record your impact from the dials and surveys, allowing you to easily output the data and benchmark yourself against other organisations.
The VIP tools are easy to use and integrate into your day-to-day work. 98% of the course participants have reported an improvement in skills after completing our training.
VIP training: who is it for?
The training is suitable for all kinds of infrastructure organisations. Any staff member or trustee can complete the training. The tools can be adapted to your needs and are designed to work alongside existing processes.
We’re also working closely with funders to ensure they understand the value of infrastructure organisations.
