Investors in Diversity

National Centre for Diversity are offering NCVO members a 5% discount on obtaining their Investors in Diversity standard.

Investors in Diversity is a standard which helps organisations adopt and develop a set of characteristics and behaviours, which if embraced, can lead to real and sustainable gains through culture movement. It also enables organisations to measure their progress as well and be recognised for achievements.

The National Centre for Diversity are working with many voluntary organisations to help them achieve the IiD standard, such as; Scope, Joseph Rowntree, United Response, RBLI – Royal British Legion Industries, and Victim Support.

How the Investor in Diversity standard helps your organisation:

Make sense of equality related legislation so that you become compliant with the law
Reduce the bureaucratic burden on your staff
Identify strengths, areas for improvement, potential new opportunities,
Identify and thereafter helps you to start to alleviate possible employee tensions
Get an online ‘360 degree equality impact assessment’ and measure and improve your current practice.

Level 1 Investors in Diversity

The Investors in Diversity accreditation is highly desirable however, for some organisations, the costs are just too high. The National Centre for Diversity has gone to great lengths to try to ensure that Investors in Diversity should be accessible for all so they have developed a lighter touch and affordable version that also prepares you to become more contract compliant when you apply for external funding. Typically an organisation takes from 4 to 12 weeks to achieve the award and then they will be presented with a certificate and can use the new Level 1 Investors in Diversity Logo.

NCVO members receive 5% discount

NCVO member, Together for Peace, is the first voluntary sector organisation to be awarded an Investors in Diversity (liD) standard by the National Centre for Diversity.

How to register

Making the commitment to securing the Investors in Diversity Standard couldn't be simpler. You can register online immediately as a candidate organisation which is working towards the Investor in Diversity standard.

Shortly after you register online, the Centre will contact you in order to arrange a visit by one of our approved IiD Advisors.
