Hinton Lectures
Following the death of Nicholas Hinton, NCVO decided to establish an annual lecture to mark his memory and to take forward the many issues that he championed during his life.
Nicholas Hinton had a long history of working in the voluntary sector, both generally and with individual voluntary organisations, notably Save the Children Fund and NACRO. He was also a visionary Director of NCVO. His impact on the sector was profound and lasting and he was widely respected in both the UK and internationally.
The annual Nicholas Hinton lecture is the sector's way of ensuring that his critical contribution is remembered.
