What is 'Cracking the Code'?

Cracking the Code is a bursary scheme for small infrastructure organisations to improve their governance based on all, or any, of the principles set out in Good Governance: A code for the Voluntary and Community Sector.

How does it work?

We will provide up to £500 for your organisation to improve its governance based on all or any of the principles of the 'Code'. In return we ask that you write a case study and develop a method to share your knowledge and experience with others in your local area.

Who is it for?

This scheme is open to infrastructure organisations based in England only. To check your eligibility for the scheme go to the applicants page.

What could you use the bursary for?

There are many different ways the bursary can be used to improve your governance. What you do and how you use the bursary depend on the needs of your organistaion. Visit our Cracking the Code ideas and inspiration page.
