Step-by-step guide: The Compact can be used in many different ways. Don’t wait until things go wrong to bring out your Compact but challenging bad practice often leads to a better relationship and better outcomes for your organisation. 

Other resources

The Compact Advocacy Programme produces briefings and advice for voluntary organisations on how to handle key Compact issues. A note on how to tackle below-inflation rises and being asked to make 'efficiency savings' is now available to help organisations safeguard their independence and ability to recover their full costs.
