The Brunswick Centre is a dynamic and forward thinking organisation committed to working towards the improved sexual health, reduction in HIV transmission and support and advocacy of those living with HIV across the Calderdale & Kirklees area.

The Encephalitis Society is a national charity with worldwide links, a registered charity, a company Ltd by Guarantee, and the only resource of its kind in the world.

The Nidderdale Plus Partnership is a voluntary organisation, formed in 2001 to work for the success and sustainability of the rural area to the west of Harrogate, covering Nidderdale, Mashamshire and the Washburn Valley. It is a Company Limited by Guarantee (Company No 5331403).

Nidderdale Plus

The Renewable Heritage Trust was set up in 2004 to restore the 18th century Howsham Mill back to its former glory with the new uses of generating hydro-electricity and as an environmental education centre.  Part of the mill is restored and it is generating electricity by an Archimedes screw turbine and the restroed water wheel.  The trust has just been awarded a HLF grant to complete the restoration.
