Are you looking for a chance to volunteer your professional expertise to benefit an inner city community? If so, we want to hear from you!

We have a newly built community centre on the Bolney Meadow housing estate, near Vauxhall, and we also have funding of £75,000 per year from Notting Hill Housing Trust, who built the centre and improved the surrounding estate.  Over the four months from July we will be developing a business plan.  We want to ensure that this great building is open to the benefit of residents as soon as possible.

Inspired By People is a UK registered charity that started a year ago with the aim to support the most vulnerable people in developing countries, in particular women and children. We support existing projects by linking to local NGOs. We believe there are many good projects out there and for this reason offer our expertise and support to partnering NGOs that share a similar vision to ours. In the UK we organise events and activities to raise awareness and funds.

100% of the money we raise goes directly to our overseas projects.

“You are one of the few organisations actually working with children and having an effect, you are on the frontline actually delivering benefit to the children, not just have meetings to discuss them.” (Teacher)

We are seeking new trustees at an exciting time in our work to help us to complete the transformation of our charity so that we can help more children. We work in south London, supporting children aged 10-17 who face disadvantages that prevent them from succeeding in education and adult life.
