Narcolepsy UK is the sole national charity for the 30,000 people with narcolepsy in the UK. More people in the UK have narcolepsy than Huntingdon’s. In 2008 the charity were beneficiaries of two significant legacies. This created a one off income of over £200,000. The trustees employed an interim manager to work with them to construct a three year plan that they then put into action.

Suffolk Coalition of Disabled People (SCODP) are looking to attract talented individuals to be Trustees/Directors on our Board.
SCODP is a new, vibrant organisation run BY disabled people FOR disabled people.
As a result of our partnership agreement with Suffolk County Council, Adult Community Services, we will be the lead organisation for disabled people in the whole of Suffolk
SCODP is committed to representing the voice of disabled people and therefore all Trustees/Directors must have a self-declared impairment as defined by current disability law.

We are looking for 4 committed and enthusiastic individuals to take the role of Trustee Director. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in Relate Bedfordshire and Luton an independent charity that is devoted to building stronger relationships.

Our services include adult relationship, young people and family counselling, sex therapy and Education and Learning.

We are looking for Legal skills – preferably family law but not exclusively, IT, HR, Fundraising, Property and Research.

We are looking to recruit a trustee with an interest in fund raising. We are a local Mind Assosiation. We are a medium sized charity with an variety of dynamic services to help maintain the wellbeing of people with a history of mental ill health and to prevent issues becoming crises. We work well with other agencies in our area. The trustee we require would help source and secure additional funding for the organisation that fit the ethos of the charity.

Eastern Leadership Centre is an educational charity supporting those who improve the learning and development of children and young people. Our team of highly experienced professionals have been leading personal, leadership and organisational development for over a decade.

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability affecting 1 in 100 people in the UK. It is characterised by difficulties in the development of social relationships and communication skills, alongside unusually strong narrow interests, repetitive behaviour, and difficulties in coping with unexpected change. It remains poorly understood, despite the understanding of autism having developed a great deal over recent decades. However, there is still a large amount of work to be done.
