West of England Care & Repair is a not for profit organisation committed to delivering and developing services for older people and disabled people of all ages. We have just been awarded a four year contract to deliver services in the four West of England local authority areas – Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

The society is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, running residential care and sheltered homes for older people in Heswall, Wirral. 

Whilst our society is an independent local charity, it is also  a part of the Abbeyfield family which is now a significant housing provider  with over 2000 bedspaces in the UK and many more internationally

Trustees are members and directors of the company and, together, constitute the Executive Committee.

The charity owns and operates 24 almshouses - 12 two bedroomed bungalows in Derby, 3 two bedroom and 9 single bedroom bungalows also at Derby. These are unfurnished dwellings, designed to provide convenient and comfortable accommodation in a setting that allows residents to come and go as they please. The almshouses have a resident warden and a community call system in each property.

The Eleanor Palmer Trust is registered charity (No 220857) and a Registered Social Landlord (No A1168). The Trust provides residential care and affordable housing for elderly people in Chipping Barnet and East Barnet. Also it provides financial assistance to persons who are need, hardship or distress and to other local organisations that are meeting this need.
