Shape is a disability led arts organisation that was established over 30 years ago. Our work seeks to improve disabled people’s access to the arts; supporting disabled people as artists, those aspiring to work in the arts, and as audience members. We believe that more disabled people should be able to benefit from the unique experience and inspiration that the arts provide. Unfortunately, despite greater equality in society today, disabled people are still faced with a range of barriers which limit their access to the arts.
