Programme
Book onlineGreg Clark MP

  • Greg Clark MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change. Climate change is one of the most serious challenges facing us, and action needs to be taken urgently by all to address the problems it poses. We think that civil society organisations play a crucial role in this, and we are delighted that Greg will join us to explore how we can work with government and partners to ensure our sector takes a lead on climate change.

  • Diana AvivDiana Aviv, President and CEO of Independent Sector the national leadership forum for America’s nonprofits, foundations, and corporate giving programmes. Diana will be closing the conference by sharing her valuable experiences and insight. She is a frequent speaker on key issues affecting the American charitable sector such as the financial state of nonprofits, public policies and the role of civil society in democracy. What effect has the economic crisis alongside a switch in President had on the charitable sector, and how have they coped with this transition?

  • Stuart EtheringtonStuart Etherington, Chief Executive, NCVO, will deliver his state of the sector address and address the key theme of the conference. “We need to make our voices heard – setting out our vision of what the good society looks like, what we think needs to be done to achieve it, and what role we as a sector will play.”
