Job title: Fundraising Manager
Responsible to: Director
Department: Fundraising
Main purpose of job: To maximise the generation of funds for Disability Care Links
Key Duties:
- Generate increased income from existing sources
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities
- Develop proposals for projects that could attract new funding
- Establish links with other voluntary and statutory bodies
- Assist the Director in developing a three-year fundraising strategy
- Liaise with Press Officer for profile-raising events
- Undertake other duties as required to ensure the proper functioning of the team
Management responsibilities:
- Manage department budget and financial goals
- Supervise Fundraising Officers in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Carry out recruitment and selection of staff as necessary
- Coach and develop Fundraising Officers including holding regular appraisals and conducting performance reviews

Role
Your job is to secure additional funding to enable the continuing work of Disability Care Links in its role as a provider of care facilities for vulnerable people. You will be responsible for all fundraising activity, conducted on behalf of the organisation. As Fundraising Manager you will also be expected to lead the Fundraising Team and oversee the management and development of three Fundraising Officers. As a member of the Management Team you will be expected to contribute to long-term planning and attend monthly Management Team meetings.
Salaries and benefits
The post is graded at Management Grade 2 and starting salary will be £35,000 with a London weighting of £4,000 per annum.
Holiday entitlement is 28 days per annum
