The Youth Action Network is a membership organisation for youth volunteering projects across England. The services we offer our members include: information, development advice, networking, quality standards, representation and research.

Youth Action is a successful approach to volunteering. It enables thousands of young people to become active in their own time, meet other young people, gain skills, have fun and put into reality their ideas and priorities that are of benefit to their own communities. At the heart of Youth Action is giving young people real opportunities to play a key role in the design, delivery and evaluation of projects.

To support the development of Youth Action Agencies in empowering young people to take action of benefit to themselves and others.

National generic or infrastructure organisation, providing services to a membership comprising other voluntary organisations.

Membership criteria:

 Full membership costs £50 per year and is for organisations  meeting the following criteria: - 

· be a voluntary or community organisation
· work with young people or young volunteers in a participatory way
· commit to the implementation of the nine good practice principles of youth action
· commit to actively contribute to the network

Associates: membership costs £75 per year and is for local voluntary or community sector youth volunteering agencies, aspiring to implement youth action principles.
