Description: Voice4Change England is a national support organisation for the Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (BME VCS). We are a leading voice in public policy and inform and influence practice that has a direct effect on the development, delivery and impact of BME voluntary and community organisations (VCOs). We support the sector to build their capacity and secure resources so they can increase their ability to meet the needs of disadvantaged communities.
At our core is a dedication to transparency and fairness: We are committed to operating in a way that is clear, visible and honest and treats all organisations with respect and equality. We value innovation at every level, seeking creative solutions and tackling the challenges of the sector with fresh ideas. We also strive to be transformational both within Voice4Change England and with the organisations we partner, promoting changes which improve our effectiveness. We believe that a strong BME VCS supports a healthy and inclusive civil society, which delivers positive outcomes for BME communities.
Services offered: We provide information, advice, resources, advocacy and opportunities to shape and influence a thriving civil society. We work with generic organisations, helping to create fair relationships which facilitate understanding and better outcomes for a more just society.
Our services include organisational development work as part of our Working Better Programme, Influencing Voice work, Networking, Consultancy and Advisory services and Information services through our fortnightly e-alert, specialist policy bulletins and publications.
