Regular meetings held in London, the North, the South West & Wales and the West Midlands. Active in influencing professional bodies and government with regard to accounting, audit and taxation issues for charities.

Membership criteria:

a) Membership of the Group shall be open to charity finance directors and such individuals (other than commercial suppliers) with responsibility for charity financial matters as the Committee may approve.

A person is a commercial supplier if he or she is employed or engaged or interested in any business or undertaking which supplies or seeks to supply for reward goods or services to charities to any extent which the Committee considers material and which is not itself a charity.

b) In respect of each Membership Year the Committee may invite individuals who are active in charity finance and other related matters to become, conditionally upon payment of any subscription set by the Committee personal to these Rules, subscribers of the Group for the remainder of the Membership Year.

The number of subscribers at any time in the Membership Year shall be restricted to a maximum of 10 per cent of the Members at 31st December in that year or at such other date in that year as the Committee may decide. Subscribers shall not be members of the Group and save as otherwise decided by the Committee shall not be entitled to attend meetings of the Group or vote but will receive literature produced by the Group.
