ARMA and its member organisations work together to improve quality of life for more than 8.5 million people in the UK with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions.  

ARMA has over 30 national organisations in membership, representing a broad range of interests across service user, professional and research organisations.

Type of Organisation:

National sub sectoral umbrella body or infrastructure organisation providing services to member voluntary organizations with a thematic sub sector (e.g. youth health etc.)

Services:
Developing and promoting Standards of Care; raising the profile of musculoskeletal conditions with policy-makers; influencing service improvement and access to treatments; supporting networking and information exchange.

Regional Offices:
ARMA is also developing local networks that enable representatives from ARMA member organisations to work together at a local level.

Membership Criteria:

Membership of ARMA is open to any voluntary organisation in the UK that works to meet the needs of people with arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions and is prepared to abide by the terms of the Memorandum and Articles of Association.
