Description:

Alexandra Rose Charities helps small local charities and community organizations to raise funds for their work with people in need in England & Wales. This is done by helping them to organize Rose Day Collections and take part in the annual Rose Raffle. Small grants may also be available to participating charities from the Special Appeal Fund.

Services:

Charities apply for their volunteers to take part in Rose Day collections. Alexandra Rose Charities arranges local authority permits and supplies all the equipment. Charities keep 90% of what is collected returning 10% to ARC together with a simple report form.

Each year Alexandra Rose Charities organizes a Rose Raffle. ARC provides tickets and prizes and charities return ticket counterfoils and 20% of income from ticket sales as a contribution towards administration costs. The draw takes place in the autumn.

We run a small grants programme for Rose Day and Raffle participants.
