Key Compact principles for the recession
Key Compact principles for the economic downturn.
Introduction
In a period of recession government departments, both national and local, will be under great pressure. It is expected less money will be available for grants and contracts. In an economic downturn public bodies may be tempted to shift risks to the voluntary sector, or not to pay on time.
Highlighted here are the key Compact principles relevant to the economic downturn, identifying what government has signed up to undertake and tips on what you can do to make sure that they are followed.
