How the Sustainable Funding Project works

The Sustainable Funding Project (SFP) provides a variety of services directly to voluntary and community organisations. You can access our support in many different ways, from one to one consultancy, to downloading our free resources from the website.

To keep in touch with our work, subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter. We have versions for both infrastructure and front line organisations.

Workshops, training and events

We run a range of events around the country, from our Introduction to Sustainable Funding workshop for beginners to Getting Ready for Enterprise for those with a trading idea. We often work with partners to produce tailored events or have a stand or shorter presentation at external events. Find out what events are coming up, read about our training workshop packages, or contact us to find out what we can offer in your area.

Publications

We have a large range of publications available. Some are free to download, some are available to purchase. They are all listed in our library.

Web resources

We try to make as much as possible available for you to download. This includes most of our tools, resources and case studies. We also run discussions and online groups.

If you would like to comment on the funding and finance pages of the NCVO website please contact us.

Bespoke support

Get SFP all to yourself!  We now offer a direct support service for organisations requiring more bespoke, hands on help with their funding and finance issues.  If you would like practical help in moving towards a sustainable future, read more about our  direct support options.

Working with infrastructure organisations

We work with infrastructure organisations to deliver many of our events and disseminate our materials. Fpr the past 10 years we have worked with infrastructure across England to support frontline voluntary and community sector organisations (VCOs) to explore a more sustainable approach to funding. Find out more about our Sustainable Funding Beacons.

We also produce some tools and resources specfically for those who are supporting organisations to pursue a sustainable approach.
