Train the Trainer Workshop
Information about a workshop for funding advisors which enables cascading the sustainable funding message to the groups they work with.
Who?
The Train the Trainer workshop has been designed specifically for local funding advisors and development workers (those typically based in CVS, Rural Community Councils, BME, regional and other sub-sector support agencies).
It is for those who will use the information gained on the day to advise others on how they can take a more sustainable approach to their funding.
What?
The aim of the day is to equip local infrastructure funding advice officers and development workers with the skills and information to enable them to deliver sustainable funding support and workshops themselves locally.
The day will comprise:
- Learning how to introduce the Income Spectrum through small group and plenary exericises
- Resources for exploring impacts, benefits and challenges of different funding relationships
- Exercises for identifying skills for sustainability, and learning how to use the Sustainable Sun tool in different situations
- Facilitated discussion of key issues for development workers and peer to peer sharing of best practice
How?
These events are designed as interactive workshops for 15 - 20 participants.
