European Funding Network
The Third Sector European Network (TSEN) merged with NCVO on 1 September 2011. TSEN’s former board members have now regrouped as an advisory body to the European Funding Network, our Euopean Social Fund (ESF) funded project.
The project provides visibility of the current ESF programme through events and publications; provides and signposts advice and information on how civil society organisations can access the European Social Fund; and represents the interests of civil society on national programme monitoring committees.
Current key members of NCVO’s European Funding Network Advisory Group include:
- CEFET
- CESI
- Co-ops_UK
- COVER
- CSV
- Network for Europe
- RAWM
- Riverside Consulting
- South West Forum
- TSNLA
- VONNE
This list will be updated regularly.
We are looking to widen the membership of the network to other partners who have an interest in EU Structural Funds. Please get in touch if you’re interested: email Sandra Turner or give her a call on 07944 485820.
European Funding
The landscape for specialist European infrastructure agencies supporting civil society organisations wishing to access European Funding across England is changing due to the shift away from regional statutory bodies and challenges associated with match funding.
However, a number of organisations exist to provide advice and information on how to access the European Social Fund (ESF) and/or the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
These organisations help voluntary and community organisations understand and access European funding and advocate the voluntary and community sector's perspective on policy formulation. They won't be able to make a bid for you but they are excellent at helping to demystify a potentially baffling process.
