Empowering the Voluntary Sector
Empowering the Voluntary Sector is a three-year project funded by the Big Lottery Fund bringing together the Compact Advocacy Programme, NAVCA, and the Public Law Project, in an innovative venture to support voluntary and community organisations.
Through a series of workshops the project will help you understand the principles of public law and the Compact as well as ideas on how you can challenge unfair or unlawful decisions made by public bodies. Further information and a list of dates
There is also a free Empowering the Voluntary Sector advice line you can contact if you have a specific issue you would like to discuss, or would like any sdvice or support on how you can challenge a public body.
