- Annual Leave
Annual leave entitlement for staff who work full time is 25 days. Part-time
staff receive a pro-rata entitlement for both annual leave and bank holidays. In addition NCVO closes over the Christmas period. There is an increase for long service: after 3 years - 27 days, after 5 years - 30 days. - Hours of Work
Full time hours of work are 35 per week excluding lunch. NCVO operates a flexible working hours system. Core hours are 10.30am to 3.30pm. - Pensions
NCVO operates a stakeholder pension. We double the employee contribution to a maximum of 8.5% as well as a salary sacrifice scheme. - Childcare Allowance
NCVO makes a contribution of £10 per week towards the cost of childcare for staff who pay for their childcare arrangements. NCVO also operates a salary sacrifice scheme through the childcare scheme. - Sickness Provision
During the first year of service staff will be entitled to 6 weeks full pay and 6 weeks half pay. Thereafter it will increase with service to a maximum of 26 weeks full pay and 26 weeks half pay. - Maternity Provision
