Volunteer Internships with NCVO

NCVO is committed to the transparent, consistent and fair recruitment and management of volunteer interns.

Volunteer internship is a mutually beneficial arrangement. NCVO aims to give volunteer interns a rewarding experience, provide meaningful work on specific and time-limited projects.

Volunteer internships are different from general volunteering at NCVO which is not time-limited to a specific project. However, volunteer interns are still volunteering their time and commitment.

NCVO welcomes volunteer interns regardless of colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender (including gender reassignment), sexual orientation, maternity, religion, belief, age, marital status, or disability.

An NCVO volunteer intern has the opportunity to learn about and gain experience within the voluntary sector, from a sector leader.

NCVO will benefit from volunteer interns bringing a diverse range of new ideas, creative ways of thinking and a different perspective to the work we do.
