Debt Advice Service through CCCS

CCCS debt remedyDetails of the benefits of utilising the free Consumer Credit Counselling service

NCVO and Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) have launched a new partnership to provide debt advice and solutions for all NCVO member organisations employees, volunteers and beneficiaries.

With 30% of the working population struggling to repay their debts, and living costs continuing to rise, an increasing number of companies are offering debt solutions. The constant advertisement of fee-charging organisations makes it difficult for individuals - already overwhelmed by the pressure of trying to meet their financial commitments - to make the right choice.

NCVO is working with CCCS because it can deliver the high quality services that NCVO demands for its member organisations.

If you are an organisation concerned that 30% of your employees could be struggling financially, then you can establish a direct partnership with CCCS to facilitate provision of debt solutions to your employees and beneficiaries at their moment of greatest need.

Creating a partnership between your organisation and CCCS

In partnering with CCCS your employees can have direct access to CCCS Debt Remedy via your website.  Debt Remedy is a unique online service available 24 hours a day.  The service offers web based expert debt advice tailored to an individual's circumstances.  CCCS also offers a telephone counselling service which is available Monday to Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, offering an immediate confidential assessment of an individual's debt situation and any emergency advice they require.  CCCS' debt counselling services are entirely free to the individual.

In addition to demonstrating a commitment to your staff by extending the support services you currently offer, helping them to solve their debt problems can assist in reducing stress, illness and in turn absence from the workplace.  CCCS will also provide you with quarterly updates on the current UK debt situation enabling you to adapt and develop to meet the changing needs of your employees.

Please forward details of your organisation and how CCCS can contact you to discuss a partnership to: partnerships@cccs.co.uk.
